Understanding Urotherapy

Uropathy, or urotherapy, is the method of healing disease by the application and use of one’s own golden elixir, urine. Uropathy was originally a spiritual practice rather than a method of treatment. They termed it as a holy liquid. According to ancient texts, urine is more nutritious than even mother’s milk! We not only physically benefit from its practice, but we can spiritually advance, because it is an elixir for body, mind and spirit! There are stories of olden times, and even recent ones, of travelers and explorers who were often put into hardships and seclusion while in desert and sea. When water got exhausted, they survived for many weeks by drinking their own urine and successfully completed their journey. ~ Global Healing Institute

I can already imagine what you’re thinking. “I’m not putting urine on my body. And drink it? No way!” If that’s the case, I encourage you to not be so hasty to dismiss it.

My first real exposure to urine therapy came quite by accident. Or maybe not, now that I think about it. Anyway, I had this horrible something going on with my hands. Itching and burning drove me absolutely nuts. I wanted it to stop! Skin peeling and splitting. Red. Hot. Inflamed.  The entire palm of my left hand developed what looked like a mini volcano. Raised up with a nasty yellowish-brown color. I remember thinking it was like something trying to come out of my body. It was freaky.

I wore cotton gloves with the fingertips cut off when I was in public because my hands looked so bad. I cut hair for a living and had to wear gloves doing that, too. Three visits with different dermatologists didn’t help. They told me it was “probably” eczema and gave me creams and ointments that offered no relief. It would usually start around October and last until hot weather. The last time it showed up, it stuck around for seven months. I was literally praying for it to go away.

The dermatologists didn’t help, so I took to Facebook, got in some groups and started asking questions. One woman said, “Pee on it.” I’d heard about using urine for jelly fish and bee stings but never even thought of it for skin conditions. Nothing else had worked, so I decided to give it a try. After all, it’s from my own body. If anything could help, this just might be it. Yes, it felt a little strange peeing on my hands but, oh my goodness, I am so glad I did.

It almost immediately took away the horrible burning and itching for hours at a time. I almost couldn’t believe it but, boy, was I happy. I’d been suffering with whatever it was for four years and to find out my own urine was the answer made me laugh out loud. I was ecstatic! And you know the best part? It was completely gone within three weeks and has never come back.

Since then, I’ve been telling people about it every chance I get. Most turn up their nose, but a few have tried it and all said it gave them relief from their skin issue. It’s not just for skin, either. I use it as eye drops, on my scalp, and as a toner for my face. I have also tasted it and decided I don’t want to drink it straight, so I use it in my meal replacement drink in the morning. I don’t taste when it’s watered down like that and mixed with something else.

This may sound gross to you, as it does to the majority of people. Maybe it intrigues you as it did with some of my friends. Either way, I want to encourage you to at least check it out. Do some reading or watch some videos. Maybe you will learn something you never knew. I did. Urine is not a waste product. Only life-creating or regenerating compounds come from the penis and vagina: urine, sperm, babies—living, high-vibrational compounds.

Think about that.
